Biography

Tessa Winterton, MD, joined the Logan Health medical staff in September of 2025. She practices at Logan Health Whitefish Specialty Clinic – 2000 Hospital Way and specializes in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN). After earning her medical degree in 2014 from University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine, Dr. Winterton completed her residency at the University of Kansas, Wichita. Prior to moving to the Flathead Valley in 2022, she was active duty in the U.S. Air Force and practiced at the Medical Group in Misawa, Japan, as well as at Wright Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Outside of work, Dr. Winterton enjoys spending time with her kids, as well as hiking, fishing, downhill skiing, reading and traveling.
