Biography

Susan Swayne, MD, is a staff pediatrician with Logan Health Children’s Primary Care. She joined the team in September 2025. She offers caring, family-focused support for kids from infancy to adolescence.

Dr. Swayne moved from Sidney, Montana. She worked in pediatrics there for three years. Before that, she worked in a variety of clinic settings in Colorado and Ohio. Her broad experience allows her to support children and families that have medical and developmental needs.

After her fellowship training, Dr. Swayne spent 12 years in the U.S. Air Force. She cared for diverse patients during her time there. This experience led to teamwork, steady effort and top-notch care.

Dr. Swayne earned her medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She completed a combined pediatric residency at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Dayton Children’s Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship in developmental pediatrics at Cincinnati Children’s, where she gained specialized training in child development and behavior.

Outside of work, Dr. Swayne and her family enjoy traveling together and solving escape rooms.

Dr. Swayne commits to helping children grow, learn, and thrive. She values building long-term relationships with families.
