Accepting new patientsShanea Trevino, FNP-BC, joined Logan Health in December 2025. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner working at Primary Care – 160 Heritage Way. Shanea started her nursing career in 2011. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University. She worked as a registered nurse in Montana, Hawaii, Alaska, and Connecticut. Through this, she gained diverse health care experience and learned to support patients of all ages. Shanea earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She graduated magna cum laude. She also earned her board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Shanea has more than 600 clinical hours in family medicine and pediatrics. She believes this improved her skills in disease prevention and in managing both acute and chronic conditions.
Shanea values long-term relationships with her patients. She takes time to understand their health goals, lifestyles, and values. She focuses on whole-person care by collaborating with patients to ensure they feel informed, supported, and confident in their health decisions. She believes people do best when they feel known and understood. Shanea loves serving the community she calls home. Her professional interests include family practice, preventive health, holistic wellness, health equity, patient advocacy, and lifelong learning. She believes the best part of her job is building strong connections with patients. She supports them through every stage of life.
Outside of work, Shanea enjoys being a mom. She and her son stay active. They explore the outdoors and join community events. She loves learning new things. She believes that being curious helps her grow as a person and a provider.
