Norman M. Friedman, MD, is a neurologist specializing in general neurology, vascular neurology and sleep medicine. He has more than 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating neurological conditions and is particularly passionate about evaluating and managing complex neurological cases.
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED). He completed his internal medicine training at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, followed by neurology residency training at The Ohio State University. He is board certified in neurology, vascular neurology and sleep medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Friedman values collaboration and the opportunity to work as part of a multidisciplinary hospital team. His professional interests include general neurology and sleep medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Friedman enjoys downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter. During the summer, he enjoys jogging, biking, swimming and boating with family and friends.
