Nicolas Porta, MD

Nicolas Porta, MD, joined the Logan Health team in October of 2024. He practices at Logan Health Children’s and specializes in neonatology. After earning his medical degree from University of Illinois, Chicago in 1993, Dr. Porta completed his residency at University of Chicago Hospitals in 1996. He followed this training with a fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine at University of California, San Francisco in 1999. Dr. Porta’s professional interests include respiratory failure, hemodynamics and palliative care. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, skiing and traveling.
