Accepting new patientsMegan Ortiz, NNP-BC, joined the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Logan Health Children’s in April 2025. As a neonatal nurse practitioner, Megan provides specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns, managing their health from delivery through discharge. She works closely with a dedicated team of providers and staff to ensure each infant receives the highest quality, individualized care.
Megan earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, where she specialized as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Before advancing into her current role, she gained six years of bedside experience as a NICU nurse, caring for patients in several neonatal intensive care units across the country.
