Marian Stuart, LCSW, is a school-based mental health therapist with Logan Health’s School-Based Mental Health program. She began her work with the program in August 2004, first serving students at Elrod School. In 2018, she transitioned to Rankin Elementary and expanded her role in 2023 to include seeing students at the Linderman Education Center.
Originally from Houston, Texas, Marian earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Texas and her Master of Social Work from the University of Houston. Before joining Logan Health, she worked with children and adults in Hamilton, Montana, and later with Western Montana Mental Health in school-based programs, outpatient care, and case management. Marian enjoys working with children and adolescents and helping them feel better through compassionate support and creative therapeutic approaches. She has professional interests in art and grief therapy.
Outside of work, Marian enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking with friends, family, and her dog, as well as biking and swimming. She also practices dressage and has leased a horse for several years, and she recently began playing the ukulele.
