Mari Knudsen, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician who joined Logan Health Children’s Primary Care in August 2025. She earned her medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and completed her pediatric residency at the University of Utah. She previously practiced in Montana and North Dakota, and feels that her experience caring for both sick and healthy children from rural areas has prepared her well to serve kids in Northwest Montana.
Dr. Knudsen is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and their families and partnering with them to support healthy development. She values practicing evidence-based medicine and serving as an educational resource on pediatric health topics. She enjoys caring for children at every stage of growth, from newborns to teenagers. She has a special interest in weight management and helping families make healthy lifestyle choices and is a certified pediatric obesity specialist. Outside of work, she enjoys trail running with her dog and hiking with her husband and kids.
