Lindsey Wheatley, NNP-BC, is a neonatal nurse practitioner in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Logan Health Children’s. She joined the team in 2021 bringing years of experience caring for critically ill newborns. Lindsey is based full-time at Covenant Children’s Hospital in Lubbock, Texas, and provides locum care in Fort Worth, Midland/Odessa, and Kalispell. She values the careful diagnostics and problem solving that are central to neonatal care.
Lindsey earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a neonatal nurse practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center. She also got her Bachelor of Science in Biology from West Texas A&M University. Her professional interests include hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, congenital heart disease, and infectious disease. Outside of work, she loves hiking, playing tennis, reading, solving puzzles, and being with her sons.
