Accepting new patientsJuan Martinez-Poyer, MD, is a maternal-fetal medicine specialist with more than 30 years of experience caring for women with high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal and fetal conditions. His extensive background includes advanced training and practice at leading medical institutions across the United States.
Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Martinez-Poyer completed training and practiced at institutions including Baylor College of Medicine, the University of Oklahoma, Yale University and Wayne State University. He has received numerous professional accolades throughout his career and previously practiced as a fetal interventionist at the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys cooking, hiking and traveling with his wife and son.
