Jason Heisey, LCPC, ATR-BC, is a licensed clinical professional counselor and board-certified art therapist who has been part of the medical staff since 2017. He provides mental health art therapy through School-Based Mental Health at Edgerton Elementary and Logan Health Cancer Support Services.
Before pursuing a career in counseling, Jason worked as a graphic designer for seven years. His passion for mentoring and creative expression inspired him to transition into mental health. He has since gained experience in wilderness therapy, residential boarding schools and school-based mental health programs in Columbia Falls and Kalispell.
Jason is a former president of the Montana Art Therapy Association and remains committed to advancing the field of art therapy across the state. He incorporates play and creative expression into his work, using art as a tool to build therapeutic relationships and create opportunities for meaningful conversations.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys creative pursuits and spending time with his family.
