Derek Kastella, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in family medicine. A Montana native from Whitefish, Derek is proud to provide care in his hometown community and is committed to helping patients find health solutions that meet their individual needs.
Derek earned his master’s degree through the University of Washington MEDEX Physician Assistant Program. During his training, he received the Mike Merrill Scholarship for excellence in emergency medicine and the Barbara Gunter-Flynn Award for his efforts to improve care and access for underserved communities.
Outside of work, Derek enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife. Together, they enjoy bow hunting for elk, hunting whitetail deer and fishing during the summer.
