Cindy J. Dean, MS, OTR/L, MPT, HEAS, CEAS, is a physical therapist specializing in workplace health and injury prevention. She brings more than 25 years of experience in rehabilitation and patient care and provides services focused on helping employees work safely and return to work successfully.
Cindy has experience in a variety of rehabilitation and patient care settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, home health and skilled nursing. She previously served as the primary physical therapist at Stafford Hospital in Virginia. She is licensed in both occupational and physical therapy and also served as a Medical Specialist Officer in the United States Army.
Cindy earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Carroll College, her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University School of Medicine and her master’s degree in physical therapy from Eastern Washington University. She is certified as a Healthcare Ergonomic Assessment Specialist and Ergonomic Assessment Specialist.
Her work includes post-offer employment testing, return-to-work and fit-for-duty evaluations, and functional capacity assessments. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys reading and spending time in nature.
