Accepting new patientsDr. Brian Thielen is a family medicine physician at Logan Health Primary Care – 160 Heritage Way. He joined Logan Health in April 2026. Dr. Thielen was born and raised in Rochester, Minnesota. He earned his bachelor’s degree in genetics from Iowa State University and his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his family medicine residency on the island of Hawaiʻi, where he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Thielen spent five years on Hawaiʻi Island, including work in rural and critical care at Kona Community Hospital. He is board certified in family medicine and has a strong interest in primary care and ultrasound. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, fishing, bowhunting, and surfing, as well as spending time outdoors with his family and dog. He looks forward to giving back to the community through his work at Logan Health.
