Nurses bring comfort and care to the delivery room through Labor of Love Cart

For many women, labor can bring about feelings of nervousness, stress and fear. This can be especially true if they have anxiety, a history of a traumatic birth, or if they are expected to have a long induction. That is why Elise Carney, RN, and the dedicated nurses of the Labor and Delivery department at Logan Health Medical Center created their own Labor of Love cart.

Golf tournament raises funds for new rehabilitation and wellness center equipment

The annual Logan Health – Conrad (LHC) Golf Tournament was held Friday, June 13 at the Pondera Golf Club, hosting 18 teams. With the generous contribution from community partners, sponsors, volunteers and teams, Logan Health – Conrad was able to raise over $13,000 towards the acquisition of new exercise equipment for the LHC Wellness Center, which supports physical therapy and cardiac rehab patients’ safety, and encourages the community’s overall wellbeing.

Logan Health – Cut Bank hosted its annual health and safety fair on Friday, June 13, at the Cut Bank City Park. Over 175 attendees had the opportunity to visit about 15 booths offered by various health and wellness organizations for screenings and activities, and to learn more about available local resources for kids and families.
