For more than 50 years, our volunteers have played a crucial role in helping make the day-to-day operations at Logan Health run smoothly for customers, patients, and employees. Today, volunteers donate over 30,000 hours annually, providing essential support across various facilities, departments and services. Their contributions are invaluable and greatly appreciated.
Among the dedicated volunteers at Logan Health – Whitefish is Anita Mills, who has been volunteering at the Whitefish facility for 26 years. When Anita moved to the area in 1998, she sought out a volunteer position at the hospital to get to know people. Except for the COVID-19 pandemic, Anita has continuously shown up and is Logan Health – Whitefish’s longest-standing volunteer. Volunteering is one of the ways she stays active and connected with the community.
Logan Health welcomes individuals who want to donate their time, learn new skills, meet great people and give back to the community. We greatly value our volunteers and offer orientation and training sessions for each position. Each facility offers various flexible shifts and roles for volunteers. The Gift Shop at Logan Health – Whitefish is one of the many programs available and in need of volunteers. Shifts in the gift shop are three hours per week and include lunch at the Valley Café. Volunteering in the gift shop is a fantastic way to meet people and contribute to our community.
