“I am so excited to work with the dedicated staff and community members that have shown such loyalty to the organization and commitment to Shelby and the region,” says Vicki. “Access to healthcare is essential and I am committed to working closely with the community to provide exceptional care to the patients we serve.” Along with being very excited to be part of the Logan Health system, she looks forward to providing services in a smaller, community-based healthcare organization.

Vicki received her bachelor’s degree from Montana State University and went on to MSU Billings, earning her Master’s in Health Administration. She also holds a nursing home administrator’s license.

Her journey to Logan Health started just twenty-four miles south of Shelby where she began her nursing career at Pondera Medical Center in Conrad (now named Logan Health – Conrad). Vicki advanced from serving as a Registered Nurse to being appointed Director of Nursing and soon, Chief Operations Officer. Afterward, she then went on to work at the Great Falls Clinic where she began as DON for the hospital prior to her role as COO, followed by dedicating seven years serving as the organization’s Chief Executive Officer.

Before the new appointment at Logan Health – Shelby, Vicki was the Practice Administrator at the Great Falls Clinic.

Vicki started her new position on April 4. Her initial goal is to develop relationships through trust and transparency. “I am here to listen and serve,” she explains. “My philosophy is servant leadership. I am committed to Shelby, the region, and to work with Logan Health to ensure that we provide excellent healthcare to the population that trusts us with their health care.”

Outside of work, Vicki enjoys gardening and camping. She loves spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

“We are thrilled to having her part of our team, says Logan Health –  Shelby’s HIT and Risk Director, Tressa Tokerud-Keller. “She has experience in rural facilities and comes with knowledge and experience that we can utilize in our facility. Her forward thinking and commitment to the staff and community is already something that is apparent. We look forward to having her part of our team and community. We are fortunate to have her!”
