A.W.A.R.E. is a statewide nonprofit organization that offers community-based support for people with mental health and/or developmental disabilities and early intervention through Early Head Start programs.
Financial aid for individuals whose need are not or cannot be met by already existing charities and/or agencies. Examples include equipment to maintain self-sufficiency, purchase service animals, or specialized transportation needs. The Foundation does not fund rent, mortgage, utilities or prior purchases.
Provides benefits to people who meet the requirements for permanent disability. There are no benefits available for temporary (less than 12 months) disability.
