Logan Health – Cut Bank will be hosting its annual health and safety fair for adults, kids and families to enjoy on Friday, June 13 from 12-3 p.m. at the Cut Bank City Park. This event focuses on increasing community connections for families and providing health education and screenings. Local community groups and organizations will have booths and activities for the whole family! Attendees can expect to learn from local health care professionals, law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs and more.
“We are thrilled to bring back the annual health and safety fair with a few changes,” said Rachel Dosch, Logan Health Human Resources Business Partner and this year’s event coordinator. “This event was initially aimed towards kids’ health and safety for the past couple of years, and in the fall, we have hosted a community health fair. Our goal for this year’s Family Health and Safety Fair is to combine the two to create a family event where all ages can learn about improving their health and safety in everyday activities.”
Community members can join the 5K Run/Walk at 11 a.m. or a One-Mile Super Stroll Run/Walk at 12:30 p.m. Check-in for both races will be located behind the main stage at the park, with check-in for the 5K starting at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. for the one-mile. Participants can now pre-register for free at www.facebook.com/LoganHealthCutBank.
“Please come out and enjoy the hopefully great weather while learning how you can take better care of yourself and loved ones,” said Dosch.
Throughout the afternoon, guests can watch live demonstrations from health care workers and safety professionals, highlighting local health services and summer safety tips. There will be opportunities to win prizes just for attending!
