Logan Health – Cut Bank board and staff have committed $60,000 to support the school nurse program at Cut Bank Public Schools, reinforcing their dedication to student health and community well-being.
“In the spirit of generosity and paying it forward this season, we’re excited to partner with the school in promoting health and wellbeing, while ensuring students’ physical and mental health are met without missing valuable time away from class,” said Cherie Taylor, Logan Health – Cut Bank President. “The school nurse program is critical to helping students learn, grow and stay healthy.”
School nurses play a vital role in managing chronic conditions such as asthma and diabetes, tracking immunizations and addressing minor illnesses or injuries. Their presence also eases the burden on parents who might otherwise need to take time off work or arrange transportation for medical care.
“I see firsthand how access to health services at Cut Bank Schools impacts kids’ health, education and overall wellbeing,” said Emily Bye, Cut Bank School Nurse. “I am grateful to provide care to our students.”
This contribution reflects the priorities identified in Logan Health – Cut Bank’s Community Health Needs Assessment, which emphasize improving access to care and supporting programs that address physical and mental health for youth.
