Conditions We Treat

At Logan Health Wellness & Pain Management, our fellowship trained, board certified physicians can develop personalized treatment plans for your chronic pain. We treat all chronic pain conditions. Below are some common areas of treatment we provide.

Back Pain
Low back pain is the most common chronic pain condition in the world. Those affected by this problem know the dramatic changes that can occur when your life is limited by constant pain. The low back is a complicated structure and, as such, effective treatment depends on establishing the right diagnosis. Our expert team uses their experience and the most advanced tests available to pinpoint the cause of your low back pain. Once the diagnosis has been made, we are able to offer a personalized interdisciplinary care plan to decrease your pain and improve your quality of life.

Neck Pain
It’s very hard to live the life you want when your neck hurts. Chronic neck pain affects millions and can make even the most basic tasks, like reading or driving, unbearable. These physicians work with our team of specialists to develop the best plan to get you back to the life you want. The right diagnosis can mean the difference between eliminating your pain and wasting your time. Because of this, our team brings together more than a hundred years of combined experience and the latest diagnostic tools to make sure you have the best chance of getting well.

Leg Pain
You may be affected by severe pain that travels down the back of your leg. This is commonly known as sciatica. The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in the body and one of the most common sources of nerve pain, also known as neuropathy. Effective treatment of sciatica depends on an accurate diagnosis. The causes of sciatica may include anything that irritates or presses on the nerve. The burning, numbness and tingling pain you feel from this nerve can be caused by a disc bulge in the low back. It can also be caused by muscles pressing on the nerve.

Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain condition that causes severe muscle pain in many areas of the body. This pain is usually associated with tender trigger points in the muscle. These are areas of the muscle that are very tender to touch. People with from fibromyalgia usually have trouble sleeping and may even have problems with concentration, memory, headaches and other symptoms. Unfortunately, no one knows the cause of this disease, and no one knows of a cure. Our specially trained providers can show you how to regain your life using a combination of many therapies, such as medications, exercise, mental and behavioral health techniques, acupuncture, and diet changes.

Arthritis
Arthritis is the most common cause of joint pain. It results from a variety of causes that result in inflammation, or irritation of the joints. This irritation usually causes swelling, pain, reduction in movement of the joint and a warm sensation around the joint. A tremendous amount of research has been done in the field of arthritis. Unfortunately there is no cure. The good news is there are many safe and effective ways to treat it, and there are several expert arthritis health care providers at Logan Health Wellness & Pain Management. Treatments may include exercises, medications, injections, acupuncture and pain management skills.
