At Logan Health Rehabilitation, we provide comprehensive physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services in the Flathead Valley. Our therapy program offers a large treatment facility with an adjacent warm therapy pool that is handicap accessible, as well as private treatment rooms and modern exercise equipment.

Therapy Programs and Tools
Integrated Therapy
We use the Dynavision D2 for rehabilitation related to visual, cognitive and motor skills. That may include rehabilitation from stroke or traumatic brain injury, improving low vision or retraining for driving. The D2 is appropriate for individuals of all ages, helping with gross motor skills, decision making, concentration under stress, reaction time, peripheral awareness, balance and functional mobility.
Our therapists use the 2000 Series Cockpit Driving Simulator to evaluate individuals who are elderly, recently injured or disabled and make sure they are safe to drive. The simulator tests vision, reaction time and memory with a variety of exercises and scenarios.
Speech and Swallowing
Speech therapists use VitalStim, noninvasive external electrical stimulation, to help individuals with swallowing disorders, or dysphagia. Along with feeding practice and other exercises, VitalStim can lead to improved swallowing after just a few days of intensive treatment.
LSVT LOUD is an intensive speech therapy program to help individuals with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions. Using exercises that strengthen the muscles of the voice box, our speech therapists help individuals make improvements in speaking loudly and clearly.
Mobility and Movement
Based on the principles of LSVT LOUD, LSVT BIG is a physical and occupation therapy program that helps to improve limb and body movement, speed and balance for people with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions.
The Biodex Balance System SD is a tool our therapists use to help individuals improve balance, increase agility and develop muscle tone. It administers tests to assess balance and aids therapists in determining the appropriate treatment for each individual, whether they are experiencing a vestibular or neurological disorder or are at risk of falling.
Our physical and occupational therapists incorporate Parkinson Wellness Recovery to help individuals improve mobility and safety. Parkinson Wellness Recovery takes advantage of the techniques of neuroplasticity, the ways in which the brain creates new neural pathways to compensate and adapt.
Another mobility tool is Bioness, which provides low-level electrical stimulation to activate the nerves and muscles that control foot or hand movement. It is most often used to reduce falls and regain function for individuals with stroke, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy or traumatic brain injury.
Concussion Clinic Services
Our team of outpatient therapists offers a comprehensive multidisciplinary concussion treatment program. We work in close communication with the neuroscience concussion clinic doctors in order to return patients to school, work and sports within the optimal recommended time frame.
