Biography

Ramon Generoso, MD, is a gastroenterologist with extensive experience in advanced therapeutic and biliary endoscopy. His clinical interests include acid reflux disease, Barrett’s esophagus, colorectal cancer and hemorrhoidal disease.

Dr. Generoso earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines and completed his internship and internal medicine residency at New York University in New York. He then completed fellowship training at Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut. Before practicing in Montana, Dr. Generoso spent 15 years in Connecticut, where he served as gastroenterology section chief at Milford Hospital and director of endoscopy at Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus. He was also an assistant clinical professor at Yale School of Medicine, where he was actively involved in medical education. Dr. Generoso serves on the American College of Gastroenterology’s Minority Affairs and Cultural Diversity Committee and is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Generoso enjoys black-and-white photography, shooting sports and listening to vinyl records.
