The community is invited to attend Logan Health’s 10th annual Spring Into Safety event, a free, family-friendly event focused on injury prevention and safety education.

The event will take place May 23, 2026, at the Flathead County Fairgrounds Trade Center Building. This year’s celebration will be bigger than ever, featuring interactive activities, live demonstrations and hands-on learning opportunities for all ages.

Over the past decade, Spring Into Safety has helped families build life-saving skills, with a strong emphasis on bicycle safety. Each year, the event provides free helmets and proper fittings to help children and families ride safely and confidently.

The event has also grown to include a wider range of safety education, including fire and campfire safety, recreational vehicle awareness and other essential injury prevention topics—adapting each year to meet the evolving needs of the community.

This work is made possible in part through continued support from Flathead Electric Cooperative’s Round Up for Safety grant program, which helps fund the bicycle helmet initiative and keeps the focus on prevention.

Additional thanks go to the Logan Health Foundation for supporting event volunteers.

With Montana’s strong connection to outdoor recreation, events like Spring Into Safety—supported by dedicated community partners—play an important role in preventing injuries and building a safer, more informed community.

This ten-year celebration not only honors the impact made so far, but also recognizes the partnerships that make this work possible.
