Logan Health Clinic – Shelby is pleased to announce that Ariél Weishaar, FNP, has joined its primary care team.
Ariél began her healthcare career as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in rural Idaho communities and in Shelby, Montana. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Montana State University in 2012 and worked at Shelby’s local critical access hospital for several years. Ariél obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Purdue University-Global in 2020 and completed clinical rotations in several facilities, mainly rural communities, in both Idaho and Montana.
During her graduate program she found her passion in pediatrics, so much that she returned to work for over a year and a half at the pediatric clinic where she completed her pediatric rotation until transferring to the new Logan Health Clinic – Shelby in January 2024.
“The best part of my work is connecting with patients and their families and being someone they can trust to truly care for them,” said Weishaar. “I love to empower my patients to take part in their healthcare decisions and help them take the next right step for their health and wellness.”
In her free time, Ariél enjoys being active and spending time outside with her family as much as possible! She kayaks, hunts, plays the cello when she has time, participates in local races, instructs group fitness classes, and has a passion for gourmet chocolate and trying new foods.
