Accepting new patientsOriginally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Vanessa Dawson, PA-C, is a physician assistant with more than 20 years of experience in primary care and internal medicine. She brings extensive experience in post-acute and skilled nursing care and is passionate about helping patients navigate their health care and improve their overall well-being.
Vanessa earned her Bachelor of Science in Allied Health and completed her physician assistant training at Methodist University in North Carolina. Her professional interests include internal medicine and geriatrics.
Vanessa values building strong relationships with patients and collaborating with care teams to help patients transition between health care settings and understand their care plans.
Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys biking, hiking, paddleboarding, pickleball and rock climbing. When time allows, she also enjoys participating in medical missions and international outreach work.
