Thomas McClure, MD

Thomas McClure, MD, joined Logan Health Occupational Medicine in May 2016. He serves as the medical director for OHS and brings over 30 years’ experience in treating injured workers and providing other occupational health services. Dr. McClure received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, completed his internship at San Francisco General Hospital and carried out an intensive residency in occupational medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). Over his three-decade career, he has cared for patients in business settings, an emergency department, and in an industrial orthopedic and hand surgery clinic. He was medical director and regional medical director for medical groups in California, including specialties in employee and occupational health, and was an assistant clinical professor with UCSF. Most recently before moving to the Flathead Valley, Dr. McClure was the medical director for Central Washington Occupational Medicine in Yakima, and for employee health at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center. Experienced in all typical musculoskeletal problems in the workplace, he has a special interest in upper extremity cumulative trauma injuries and myofascial pain.
