Scott Rogers, MD, began practicing at Logan Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in August 2016 as a hand, wrist and elbow specialist. He was raised in St. George, Utah, and graduated from Southern Utah University in Cedar City. He attended Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania. He then received his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a candidate member of both the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the American Association for Hand Surgery. Dr. Rogers has a strong interest in medical missionary work demonstrated during his time as a missionary for the Latter-day Saints church in East Africa. He was one of three surgeons on a hand surgery mission to Trinidad and Tobago in fall 2016 and looks forward to other medical missions in the future, including East Africa where he spent two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When not at work, Dr. Rogers enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, hunting, fishing and playing any sport he can.
