Mitchell Marzo, MD, is an internal medicine physician specializing in hospital medicine. He brings extensive experience in caring for hospitalized patients and has practiced in hospital settings throughout Montana, as well as during his military service.
Dr. Marzo earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences School of Medicine in Denver and completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. He served as chief resident and later worked as a staff internist at Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he was promoted to major and named chief of internal medicine. During his military service, Dr. Marzo was assigned to a combat support hospital in Baghdad, Iraq. After completing his service, he practiced as a hospitalist at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, Montana, before moving to the Flathead Valley.
Outside of work, Dr. Marzo enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters. He also enjoys hiking, biking and snowboarding.
