Michael Heilman, FNP

Michael Heilman, NP, a nurse practitioner, joined the Logan Health staff in November 2023. He practices at Logan Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine – 111 Sunnyview Lane and specializes in urgent care. After earning his associate degree in applied science in nursing, Michael went on to earn his Master of Science degree in nursing from Michigan State University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program. Since 2000, Michael has practiced emergency medicine, urgent care and orthopedics and worked as a nurse in intensive care units and emergency departments. His professional interests include sports medicine, wilderness emergency medicine and orthopedics. Originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, Michael now spends his time in the Flathead Valley exploring the backcountry with his wife, two-quarter houses and two German shepherds. He also enjoys woodworking and alpine skiing.
