Jonathan (Matt) Brunson, MD, is a cardiac electrophysiologist who provides care for patients with heart rhythm conditions, offering minimally invasive treatment options that may provide a potential cure for certain conditions.
Dr. Brunson earned his bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from the University of Texas at Dallas, graduating magna cum laude. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Baylor University Medical Center.
When away from the office, Dr. Brunson enjoys hiking, fishing, scuba diving, hunting and traveling.
