Mary Ann Evans, MD, rejoined Logan Health in April 2026. She previously worked with the organization from August 2020 to August 2025 and most recently served as a contract physician with My Catholic Doctor LLC. Dr. Evans provides care in adult psychiatry, addiction psychiatry and addiction medicine at the Logan Health Newman Center Adult Services clinic.
Dr. Evans earned her Bachelor of Science in food science from Texas A&M University and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed both her internship and residency training at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine, including training in family medicine and psychiatry. She is board certified in psychiatry, addiction psychiatry and addiction medicine, and is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Her professional interests include substance use disorders and behavioral addictions, holistic health, medical illnesses that cause psychiatric symptoms and women’s mental health throughout the life cycle.
Dr. Evans says the people are what she enjoys most about her work — especially her patients and the many colleagues and staff members she works alongside across Logan Health.
Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Evans came to Montana while serving on active duty with the U.S. Air Force at Malmstrom Air Force Base. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, boating, camping, hiking with her family and spending time with her faith community.
