Mark Ochenrider, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist who joined the Logan Health team in July 2016. He brings broad skills and experience to the Flathead Valley, having trained and worked in the Seattle, Washington, area as a primary care and hospital/critical care internal medicine physician. As an active member of the medical team at Logan Health, he works on the hospitalist service. Dr. Ochenrider received his Bachelor of Arts in biology (magna cum laude) from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, and his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. Following his studies, Dr. Ochenrider was a resident at Virginia Mason Medical Center, where he later trained incoming resident physicians. His awards of “Top Doctor” and “Top Teacher” among Seattle metropolitan physicians placed him in an elite group. With a demonstrated interest in helping others, Dr. Ochenrider frequently shares his medical knowledge with underserved populations as a volunteer physician. Dr. Ochenrider is proud to have been born and raised in Whitefish. Since moving back to the area, Dr. Ochenrider, his wife, Lisa, and their children enjoy the Flathead Valley’s friendly people and natural beauty. They frequently explore the outdoors while hiking, mountain climbing, cross-country skiing and more.
