Accepting new patientsKayla Myren, NP-BC, joined our health system in July 2026 as a family medicine nurse practitioner serving patients ages 16 and up in Bigfork and Lakeside. She provides a variety of primary care services and has special interests in substance use disorder treatment and thyroid care. Kayla previously practiced at Skyline Primary Care in Denver. She also spent many years working as a registered nurse, caring for older adults in a variety of settings. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Chippewa Valley Technical College, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Viterbo University, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Post University. She is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Kayla grew up in Strum, Wisconsin, and enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. She believes the best care starts with listening, creating a plan together, and helping people take charge of their health. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, gardening, skiing, camping and spending time with her two huskies.
