Kathryn Wisser, DO, is a gastroenterologist with a special interest in liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. She is passionate about providing thoughtful, patient-centered care while helping patients better understand and manage their health. Originally from Whitehall, Michigan, Dr. Wisser earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship at Genesys Regional Medical Center. She began her career as an assistant professor at Michigan State University, where she taught medical students, residents and fellows while also practicing in a private clinic.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Wisser enjoys spending time outdoors, especially biking, hiking and skiing.
