Katelyn Marsden, MD, is a neurologist specializing in vascular neurology and stroke care. A native of Canada, Dr. Marsden has lived in the United States since completing her residency and fellowship training.
She completed her undergraduate studies and earned a master’s degree from the University of British Columbia before attending medical school at the University of Limerick in Ireland. Dr. Marsden completed her internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of Washington.
During her training in the Seattle area, Dr. Marsden was recognized with the Harborview Medical Center Emergency Department Outstanding Consultant of the Year Award for 2020–2021 and the University of Washington Medical Center Emergency Department Outstanding Consultant of the Year Award for 2021–2022. She went on to complete fellowship training in vascular neurology at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Marsden enjoys trail running, kayaking, crafting, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.
