Karysse J. Hutson, DO, FACOOG, joined the Logan Health medical staff in July of 2024. She practices at Logan Health Women’s Care as an OB/GYN Hospitalist, specializing in both obstetrics and gynecologic surgery. After earning her medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Hutson completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Minnesota. She practiced as an OB/GYN surgeon for 16 years before coming to the Flathead Valley.
Dr. Hutson is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology and is a member of many health organizations, including the American Association of Prolife Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Hutson has received numerous prestigious national and international awards for patient care and research, most recently receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award from Healthy Start. She is the founder and CEO of Canopy Global Foundation, a women’s health care non-profit organization that works to prevent human sex trafficking, supports moms with unintended pregnancies, and teaches exploitation avoidance to students around the world.
Outside of work, Dr. Hutson enjoys hiking, swimming, dancing, and listening to live music. She sings in her church’s worship team and loves to travel and go on adventures with her husband and stepson.
