Prior to attending Medical School at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Hooker obtained a Masters Degree in applied physiology from the University of South Carolina with a focus on athletic training and muscular degenerative diseases. He attended undergraduate school at Weber State University, where he met his wife Heidi and started a family. After medical school, he spent a year successfully completing a general surgery internship at Valleywise Medical Center, a Level 1 trauma and Level 1 burn center in Phoenix, Arizona. Thereafter, he completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery with rearfoot/reconstructive ankle credentials. He has been practicing in Northern Montana since 2018. When Dr. Hooker is not treating patients, he mostly enjoys spending time with his wife and 4 children. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, an addicted gym-rat, a wannabe scratch golfer, an amateur astronomer and always has a good book to read.
