Josephine Wright, MD, FACP, joined Logan Health in October 2023. She practices at Logan Health Primary Care – 705 6th Avenue East and provides comprehensive primary care, focusing on primary prevention and treating complex diseases. After earning her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine, Dr. Wright completed her residency at the University of Utah Internal Medicine Residency Program where she served as Chief Medical Resident. She then became Associate Program Director and helped establish the primary care track for the residency program while precepting medical students and residents at Intermountain Healthcare’s Edwards Internal Medicine Teaching Clinic. Dr. Wright is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Prior to starting medical school, Dr. Wright served in AmeriCorps. She is also the recipient of many awards pertaining to medical excellence, including the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Award, the University of Washington School of Medicine Service Award, and various undergraduate awards and honors. She enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends, hiking, cooking, as well as practicing yoga, barre and pilates.
