Joseph Bergman, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a passion for restoring mobility and improving quality of life. He is dedicated to helping patients overcome hip and knee pain and return to the activities they love.
Dr. Bergman earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction and Hip Preservation at the University of Utah, one of the nation’s leading programs in joint care. After completing his medical training, he returned to his Montana roots and, since August 2014, has been dedicated to caring for patients in Northwest Montana.
With a clinical focus on treating hip and knee arthritis, Dr. Bergman specializes in direct anterior total hip replacement, partial and total knee replacement, robotic-assisted joint replacement, complex total joint revision surgeries, and the treatment of sports injuries and trauma. His approach combines advanced surgical techniques with personalized care to support the best possible outcomes for his patients.
He is committed to helping people regain their independence, mobility and confidence. Outside the operating room, Dr. Bergman enjoys exploring all that Montana has to offer with his wife and four children.
