Radiation oncologist Jeffrey Eshleman, MD, came to the staff at Logan Health Radiation Oncology in August 2016. Dr. Eshleman completed his four-year residency with the Mayo Clinic’s Department of Radiation Oncology in Rochester, Minnesota, and served as chief resident in his final year. He earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University (now Drexel University) in Philadephia. He began professional practice with Cancer Consultants of Southwest Ohio, Inc., in Dayton, Ohio. Dr. Eshleman then returned to his hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and joined Lancaster Radiology Associates, Inc., as a partner and cared for patients at Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute in Lancaster General Hospital. During his time in Lancaster, he was chief of the Division of Radiation Oncology, medical director of oncology research, chairman of the institutional review board and member of the oncology leadership team. He served in several other leadership roles at Lancaster before his recent move to Montana. Dr. Eshleman’s professional interests include brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and stereotactic body radiation therapy for patients with central nervous system, lung, breast, gastrointestinal and prostate malignancies. Away from the office, Dr. Eshleman enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters. He takes part in many outdoor activities, including hiking and skiing.
