Drew Kirshner, MD

Drew L. Kirshner, MD, is a cardiac surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for adults with cardiovascular conditions. He has extensive experience in adult cardiac surgery, including beating-heart bypass surgery, also known as off-pump surgery, as well as aortic valve and mitral valve surgery. Dr. Kirshner works closely with other cardiovascular specialists to provide coordinated care for his patients.

Dr. Kirshner attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and completed residencies in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Prior to practicing in Montana, he was a cardiac surgeon with Midatlantic Cardiovascular Associates in Baltimore, Maryland, where he practiced at Union Memorial Hospital.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kirshner enjoys spending time outdoors, including skiing and riding dirt bikes. He also enjoys spending time with his family, which includes six physician siblings, two of whom are cardiac surgeons.
