Accepting new patientsDevon Smith joined the Logan Health Surgical Clinic in July 2026 as a Thoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner. She spent the previous decade practicing in North Carolina, where she gained experience in general, trauma and acute care surgery.
Devon earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina Upstate in 2010 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in 2016. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her areas of specialty include thoracic surgery, general surgery, acute care surgery and trauma surgery. Devon is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and supporting patients throughout their surgical journey.
Outside of work, Devon enjoys hiking, mountain biking and snow skiing, as well as spending quality time with her dog
