Accepting new patientsAustin Rusher, APRN, WHNP-BC, is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Logan Health Women’s Care. She specializes in gynecology (GYN), providing care for women’s reproductive health. Austin began her nursing career in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and transitional newborn care, all in Montana communities.
Austin grew up in Helena, Montana. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Montana State University. Austin earned her Advanced Practice Degree in Women’s Health from Frontier Nursing University (FNU), and graduated with honors. She maintains active membership in numerous professional organizations, including ACOG, the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, and the Menopause Society.
Austin specializes in comprehensive women’s health. She enjoys teaching and working with women. Together, they make informed choices about their care. She has a special interest in hormone therapy, bleeding management, and obstetrics. She also offers care in family planning, preventive health, and much more. Austin manages complex gynecologic needs too. This includes PCOS, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, low libido, and managing abnormal Pap results.
Austin enjoys staying current on advances in women’s health and hormone therapy. She values the chance to support women throughout their healthcare journeys.
Outside of work, Austin spends as much time as she can with her family. They enjoy hiking, hunting, biking, skiing, and time on the water. She also loves reading and cooking during the slower shoulder seasons. Montana continues to inspire her with its wide-open spaces and year-round adventures.
