Accepting new patientsAnthony Dal Nogare, MD, is a pulmonologist with extensive experience in pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. In addition to his pulmonary practice, Dr. Dal Nogare provides intensive and critical care in an intensive care unit.
Dr. Dal Nogare received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1978. He completed his internship at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, followed by an internal medicine residency at Georgetown University Hospital and the Washington, D.C., Veterans Administration. He then spent two years in public health service on the Navajo Reservation in Chinle, Arizona, before completing a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, in 1986. Before moving to the Flathead Valley in 2009, Dr. Dal Nogare was associated with UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, where he served as a professor, attending physician and medical director. During that time, he published numerous research articles, primarily focused on the microbiology of lung infections.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Dal Nogare is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys hiking and cycling. He and his wife have three daughters, and they enjoy exploring northwest Montana together as a family.
