Logan Health Medical Center (LHMC) has once again earned national recognition from the American Heart Association (AHA) for its commitment to high-quality cardiac, stroke and resuscitation care.
This year, LHMC received the prestigious AHA Commitment to Quality Award, one of 222 hospitals nationwide recognized with the award, along with ten additional Get with the Guidelines Achievement Awards recognizing the hospital’s performance across multiple areas of cardiovascular, stroke and resuscitation care.
The AHA Commitment to Quality Award recognizes hospitals that demonstrate a broad commitment to applying evidence-based standards across cardiovascular and stroke care programs.

The AHA’s Get With The Guidelines programs are quality-improvement initiatives that help hospitals apply the latest evidence-based clinical guidelines, measure performance and identify opportunities to improve patient care. More than 2,600 hospitals nationwide participate in at least one Get With The Guidelines program.
