On Saturday, March 2, Logan Health held its second annual CycleMT event in Kalispell and Shelby, uniting Montana communities in a remarkable display of support for children facing medical hardships. Together, 24 teams of Logan Health employees and community members showed up to ride and fundraise for Montana’s children.

Through the peer-to-peer fundraising efforts of each participant – as well as the support of generous sponsors including Town Pump, Glacier Bank, Stockman Bank, Summit Beverage, Altana Federal Credit Union, and Glacier Electric – the event raised over $111,000 for children across the state. These funds will directly benefit local families facing medical challenges, providing them with essential resources, therapies and support not covered by other means of funding.

“At Town Pump, we understand the importance of supporting Montana families in providing the best for their children,” explains Bill McGladdery, Director of Corporate Communications at Town Pump. “We’re dedicated to being a helping hand, ensuring families have the resources they need to nurture and empower their children to reach their fullest potential.”

Committed to furthering CycleMT’s impact throughout the state, the Logan Health Foundation aims to raise $150,000 by the end of 2024. In 2023, Logan Health distributed funds to eight eligible applicants, benefiting families with items like adaptive tricycles, therapy swings, AEDs, and an ADA-compliant home retrofit.

“As we reflect on the success of this year’s CycleMT event, we are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our Logan Health family, community sponsors, and the entire community,” says Joe McClafferty, President of Logan Health Foundation. “Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of children and families across Montana. We are immensely grateful to everyone who participated, donated, and supported this meaningful event.”
