Stanley Makman, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who treats a full range of orthopedic injuries and conditions. He has been practicing orthopedic surgery since 1993, bringing decades of experience to patient care.
A native of Massachusetts, Dr. Makman earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. His clinical focus includes joint reconstruction, hip and shoulder arthroscopy, and total knee and total hip replacement. He also has a special interest in Mako robotic surgery.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Makman enjoys kayaking, bicycling, skiing and skating. In college, he competed in ski racing and ice dancing.
