Nick Fleming DO, FAAPMR, joined our team in April, 2021. Dr Fleming is a physician specializing in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) and is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine. Dr. Fleming completed his medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas prior to working at the Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. A child born with cerebral palsy (CP), muscular dystrophy, spina bifida or a child who may have suffered a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke or spinal cord injury — or any child with a developmental delay — all benefit from coordinated and comprehensive care. Furthermore, these children can thrive functionally, mentally and academically when appropriate resources and treatments are recognized and obtained. Dr. Fleming closely evaluates a child’s function at home, school and in the community for this purpose. Regardless of your child’s needs, Dr. Fleming is excited to meet them and provide a comprehensive review and care plan with a focus on your child’s physical, mental and emotional well-being. When not at work, Dr. Fleming enjoys cooking, ice and fly fishing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and outdoor recreating & adventuring with his wife and two young children.
