Mark Magill, MD, is a highly skilled orthopedic surgeon with a passion for restoring mobility and improving quality of life. Since 2015, he has been a trusted expert in foot and ankle surgery, blending advanced training with a patient-first approach.
Dr. Magill holds a degree in biomedical engineering from Saint Louis University and earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University. He completed his orthopedic residency at Emory University in Atlanta, where he gained extensive trauma experience at Grady Memorial Hospital. He then pursued a specialized fellowship in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he helped care for professional athletes from the NBA, NFL, MLB and NCAA.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Magill has contributed to the field through published biomechanical research and was involved in the patenting of an innovative orthopedic joint replacement material. His expertise spans general orthopedics and trauma, with a special focus on ankle instability, sports injuries of the foot and ankle, fractures, arthritis, flatfoot, Achilles tendon injuries and forefoot issues such as bunions and plantar plate ruptures.
Outside the operating room, Dr. Magill embraces Montana’s outdoor lifestyle. He enjoys mountain biking, skiing, fishing, trail running and hiking with his wife, Dr. Ashleigh Magill.
